What to Expect

We know reaching out for help can feel overwhelming. Here’s what typically happens:

  • Reach Out: Contact us by phone, email, or our online form. Our intake staff will ask a few brief questions to match you with a clinician who fits your needs and schedule;
  • Intake & Assessment: Your first session focuses on understanding your concerns, history, strengths, and goals. This helps your clinician develop a collaborative treatment plan;
  • Treatment Planning: Together, you’ll choose short-term goals and longer-term objectives. We’ll discuss session frequency, homework or skill practice, and how progress will be measured;
  • Ongoing Therapy: Sessions are a collaborative process. You’ll be invited to give feedback, and your clinician will adjust approaches as needed;
  • Referral & Coordination: If additional services (psychiatry, specialized testing, community resources) are recommended, we’ll support referrals and coordination.
