Meet the Founder and Our Centre

Angi horizons counseling centre (AHCC) is a professional counseling and psychological/spiritual support that foster personal growth and community. Is a safe, supportive and welcoming place to people in vulnerable states. The name “Angi horizons’’ is drawn from my personal and professional experiences. Angi is a short form of my given name ANGIACHI which means in Oshie language a farm beside the road. I have the urge to help those in need of counseling services. Meanwhile horizons suggest new beginnings and possibilities, which can be comforting to individuals dealing with mental health issues. It implies there is hope and future healing beyond current pain. At AHCC, we guide you towards a brighter tomorrow, we empower you to rewrite your story, we transform your pain into purpose

ANGIACHI A Nicole, a Social Worker by profession, HIV/AIDS Counselor and Psychosocial trainer, trauma Counselor– is the Founder and Lead Practitioner of AHCC. With over 20 years of experience in mental health and social services, Nicole is highly committed to healing individuals, strengthening families and communities, and building a sustainable counseling practice in Cameroon and global sphere.

She holds a MSc in health economics, policy and management, a BA in Psychology with the option ‘‘Psychopathology and child psychology’’, along with diplomas in Nursing, Social Work, counseling. She is multitalented as she can offer holistic care to those in need. she serves as a social worker, counselor, trainer, supervisor. She is passionate about integrating theory with practice, ensuring that counseling is holistic, ethically grounded, client centered, and effective. 
Guided by compassion, ethics and a deep commitment to human dignity, Nicole views counseling as both a profession and a service with a mission to provide accessible, compassionate, and evidence-informed mental health care that empowers individuals, families, and communities to build resilience and thrive.
